Werner Klän, PhD, DD
Dr Klän recently retired from the faculty of Lutherische Theologische Hochschule, Oberursel, Germany, the seminary of the Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church (SELK), a sister church of Lutheran Church–Canada and a member of the International Lutheran Council. He is a world-class expert in the theology of Formula of Concord–confessional–Lutheranism. In retirement he lives with his wife Martina in the north German port city of Lübeck. He is teaching courses in dogmatic theology at CLTS during the winter semester and spring short term 2020.
