The seminary’s proper name is “Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, St. Catharines”. The full name should be used in order to distinguish this seminary from others in North America. It may be abbreviated as CLTS.
CLTS developed a new logo in 2024 that expresses the seminary’s mission. CLTS grants permission for church and educational organisations to use the seminary’s logo to advertise events and services provided by CLTS or to support its mission. The logo may not be altered in any way.
The Seminary Logo

The central image is an open Bible, “the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Tim. 3:15). The Greek cross points to Christ crucified, the central theme of all preaching (1 Cor. 1:23). The maple leaf represents the Canadian context of our seminary’s mission. The colours, too, are significant: royal blue, the kingdom of God (Mark 1:15); white, the righteousness of Christ (Rev. 7:14); and wheat, the harvest field (Matt. 9:36–38).
