An Old Hamburger Visits New Hamburg

The seminary’s adjunct professor, Rev. Wihelm Torgerson, visited St. Peter’s in New Hamburg, Ontario, on the first Sunday of Advent. First, he gave a presentation of the church situation in Germany, then offered encouragement to support the seminary in St. Catharines.

Having served at Trinity in (Old!) Hamburg in Germany for over 16 years, Torgy wore the traditional vestments of the clergy in Hamburg. He has been asked to serve for four weeks the vacancy at Trinity (back in Germany) from mid-December to mid-January. The members of St. Peter’s in New Hamburg gave a special offering for the Student Aid Fund of the seminary.
