On Wednesday, 11 January 2023, Lorraine Bogusat was taken home from this life by her Lord. Lorraine served as Assistant to the Registrar at the seminary for most of the 1980s before leaving that job to work full-time in woodcarving with her husband, Howard. The couple left their mark on the seminary by carving a number of major pieces of church art, including the Trinitarian artwork behind the altar with its magnificent processional cross, a memorial wall depiction of the saints in heaven, and a medallion of Martin Luther.

The funeral will take place at Christ Lutheran Church, St. Catharines, on Monday, 16 January, 11am. See the obituary here:
