This Easter, as always, we praise God for the new life we have through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is the biggest gift He showers upon us, but it leads to so many more, as we experience daily at your seminary. President Thomas Winger asks you to consider Peter’s words of praise, which formed the text for his first sermon as a seminary student:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is im-perishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. (1 Peter 1:3–4)

An inheritance isn’t earned. It’s a gift for those who are children, as we are of God. God has showered His gifts on your seminary in the past year. We have a lively group of men from all over the world—Canada, China, India, the USA—who are willing to sacrifice themselves to the pastoral work of proclaiming the Gospel.

Christ will send His men into His Church, but He uses you to care for them both before and after ordination. In this resurrection season, please help sustain the seminary’s lively mission by giving as God has given to you—with selfless generosity and love. Donate now or explore how you can support our ongoing work through ongoing gifts. The students, staff, and faculty of CLTS thank you for your support in prayers and gifts and pray that God would continue to bless you.
