Postal Strike and Thanksgiving?

Well it has happened again!  We have our Thanksgiving Appeal letter all ready to go.  In it we are reminded of how God has richly blessed us by using the Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary to bring Lutheran pastors to serve the church here in Canada.  Once again we were all ready to humbly ask for your continued support and just as we were about to drop the letters in the mail box, a postal strike was announced.

But we are undaunted.  Just as God has so richly provided for you and through you His church, so He has provided us with the internet and electronic giving.  A coincidence?  We think not.  So, during this time of postal interruption we encourage you to contribute online.  Not only does it save us the time and money of having to process cheques, it also ensures that the work that we are doing here continues to flourish.  If it’s been a while since you last supported us, now is the perfect opportunity to renew your commitment and send in your contributions.
