CLTS Christmas Party“And a good time was had by all,” might summarize the seminary Christmas social Sunday evening at Resurrection Lutheran Church. There was the customary fine selection of food. The ham is provided by the Seminary Guild and the labour by the students to thank the staff, faculty, and Guild for their service to them throughout the year. There were also lots of hot dishes, casseroles, salads, and, of course, desserts.

Tyson Mastin served as MC and later presented gifts to the children present. Sadly illness CLTS Christmas Partyprevented some from attending. The Guild also had gifts for the students. The special “gift” for the evening was the graduating class’s renditions of popular songs highlighting the individual faculty member’s roles in their preparation for ministry, such as “What a friend we have in Winger” for his exegetical help, etc. Paul Schulz provided guitar and mandolin music throughout the evening.
