This past week the seminary appealed to the members of LCC to include support of the seminary in their Lenten discipline. In our regular Lenten appeal letter, seminarian Vishal Paul, who has come to Canada from India to become a Lutheran pastor, introduces himself and his family. Pastor Dan Abraham, a member of the seminary’s Board of Regents, writes of God’s “Amazing Grace” that opens our eyes to see Jesus. He writes:

At CLTS we strive to train men who are able to proclaim Christ to those inside the church and to those who have no idea who the Son of Man is. Jesus wants both. Christ has forgiven us for fighting against His holy purpose for our lives; He remains dedicated to pursuing what is best for all of His visually impaired children.

To that end, please consider making a financial gift to CLTS this Lenten-Easter season. Send a cheque in the enclosed envelope, or visit Canada Helps (www.canadahelps.org) to make a one-time or recurring donation by credit card. And please keep our students and staff in your prayers at all times.
