Beginning with the prophetic writings predicting the coming of the Messiah until the culmination of “it came to pass in those days” in Luke 2, the readings in the service led the seminary community deeper into joyful preparation for Christmas.

Mr Andrew Hayes played the organ.

In addition to the powerful singing “from the pews”, altogether three choirs were contributing to the musical enjoyment. Two came from the local congregations of Resurrection and Grace, and the third was formed of the students of CLTS, led by the choir director Elisabeth Murto.

The service itself was followed by warm social time where the students, staff and faculty had the chance to meet with many friends of the seminary.
