Our Saviour Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brings life and immortality to light though the gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through Linda.
Linda Ann Storer was born in Kitchener on June 1, 1971, to Alfred and Muriel Storer. She was reborn as a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism on July 25, 1971, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kitchener. On Palm Sunday of 1985 she was confirmed in the Christian faith and was fed the life-giving Body and Blood of Jesus, which sustained her in body and soul throughout her life. She was united in Holy Marriage to Kurt Lantz on September 25, 1993, and blessed with 26 years of married life. God also blessed them with the gift of children: Daniel, Benjamin, Nathaniel, and Rachel.
God blessed Linda’s life tremendously in her work as the Administrative Assistant at Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, especially in sharing the love of Christ with the students and their families. The Lord instilled in Linda a quiet but active faith and love for His Church, calling her to serve for many years on a Department for Outreach, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and the Seminary Guild.
On November 13, 2019, God blessed her with a holy death and took her to rest in the arms of Jesus. She passed away at home with her family, where she was most comfortable. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
Linda was predeceased by her father and is survived by her mother, husband, and children. In addition, she is survived by her brothers and sisters: Judy (Carl) Kuhl of Kitchener ON, Donna (Desmond) Finn of Burlington ON, Mark (Wendy) Storer of Regina SK, Shawn (Micholina) Storer of Guelph ON, and Karen (Jason) Szasz of Kitchener ON; 3 nieces and 5 nephews, including 3 godchildren.
The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord for our sister, Linda.
