After a two year hiatus, the annual CLTS Golf Tournament was back. The format was a bit different, but the enthusiasm was the same. We had a full registration, and the golfers were blessed with beautiful weather. As they arrived at Sawmill Golf Course in Fenwick, Ontario, they received a boxed lunch and SWAG bag, and then joined in a putting contest before teeing off at the first hole. After 18 holes, the day was capped off with awards and prizes along with a BBQ supper.

Top team this year was the Krestick team composed of Pastor Robert Krestick, James Krestick, Andrew Krestick, and Thomas Krestick. New this year was a prize for the top seminary student golfer, which was awarded to Daniel Cunningham.

The success of this year’s “reboot” has spurred the golf committee to begin plans for 2023.

Many thanks go out to those who donated prizes and sponsorships, and especially to the Julie family for being such generous and hospitable hosts.

  1. Dear CLTS community, a moment please.
I wish to point out that while it is true that the Krestick group finished in top spot at the golf tourney, they were not alone. The Historic St Paul’s foursome and the Kuhl group finished with the same final score of 2-under par. I would not have mentioned it except I have been boasting that I now have one fewer item on my bucket list, that being victory at the CLTS golf tourney. I suppose an asterisk might be in order, but as far as those persons I told of our victory are concerned, HSP carried the day.
Dr Korcok, a retraction is not necessary–a simple mea culpa will suffice 😉 .
Thank you for a great day, as always.
