The Seminary Guild will be holding its annual Guild Day gathering on Saturday, 13 April 2024. Please come to meet the students, support their formation, participate in the decision-making, and enjoy a light lunch together. The deadline for registration is approaching very quickly, so please return the registration form in the newsletter as soon as possible.
The Guild’s spring newsletter has been been sent in print to reps and congregations who have requested it, while the remainder are receiving it by e-mail. But you can download it now and read it here.
If you haven’t paid for an annual membership ($10), please contact your congregation’s Guild rep. These small membership fees add up to support great projects for our seminary students.

Greetings CLTSfrom Rev. Robert Clifford I read the Guild Newsletter with interest. I pray you will be able to fill the Executive positions that will be vacated due to the present office holders moving away. One observation: In the Pastoral Advisor’s column the statement is made “We are thankful that God has positioned us toserve the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada and beyond,”. I (think) I understand that the reference is to Lutheran Church Canada being the “Evangelical” LC, properly understood. But confusion & misinterpretation could be avoided by a more careful choice of words so that the common reader is not left thinking of the heterodox Canadian synod, the ELCIC.
