At the end of this academic year we bid a sad but fond farewell to two of the seminary’s longest-serving staff members.

Mrs Bonnie Stephenson stepped into the role of Registrar’s Assistant in the summer of 2006 and served most of the past 18 years as assistant to her own husband, John! A rostered deaconess, Bonnie carried out her calling with a dedication to the students that went far beyond her desk work. Dr and Mrs Stephenson are moving to Iowa this summer.

Mrs Sarah Cavanagh came on board in April 2007 as Library Clerk, working with Librarian Christel Haeck. Since Christel retired, Sarah has handled the Librarian role on her own, with help from a few students. She has been a skilled research assistant to students and faculty, and, in addition to caretaking the books, she has helped the seminary navigate the new landscape of digital resources.
May God bless and keep Bonnie and Sarah as they now find more time to spend with their families.

May God bless both retirees with much joy in retirement. We’re excited to greet one of them in Iowa 🙂
