Every year, it seems the Lord bestows an extra special blessing of beautiful sunshine upon the CLTS Golf Tournament, and this year was no different. Seventeen teams gathered at Conestoga Golf Club, just outside of Waterloo, for the annual event, which featured a best-ball game, a BBQ lunch, and a buffet supper. Even better than the amenities was the opportunity to meet new friends and support the ongoing mission of the seminary.
Prizes were awarded to the winning team, the winner of a putting contest, and for the longest drive and closest to the pin.
During the banquet, Dr. Korcok highlighted the exciting new initiatives that the seminary is embarking on. He also recognized the individuals, organizations, and businesses that contributed to the success of the event.

The success of this annual event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Garfinkle Biderman LLP for graciously sponsoring the lunch, and to Sawmill Golf Course, Canadian Lutheran World Relief, Element Consulting Group, Lutheran Laymen’s League of Canada, Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP, Edward Jones/Perry Hart, Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, and Lutheran Foundation Canada for their valuable sponsorships, as well as our numerous hole sponsors for their contributions. We are truly grateful for the continuous support and commitment from our sponsors, as their involvement significantly contributes to the success of our event.

A special thanks goes out to the dedicated organizing committee members, including Wayne Weiberg, who played a pivotal role in coordinating with the golf club, Donna Kurt, Lisa Jackson, Dave Braun, Pastor William Kramer, and Maria Munoz from the seminary.
It’s not too early to start planning for next year! Mark June 1, 2026, on your calendar and start thinking about who you can bring along. Bring a friend, be a friend, make a friend!
