Over the past two years the faculty, staff, and regents of CLTS have been engaged in a self-study with a view towards application for full membership in the Association of Theological Schools. Hitherto we have been associate members, but this category has been phased out. We are pleased to announce that, on the basis of our written submission, our seminary has been granted an initial accrediting visit. This will take place 11-14 April 2011, when four members of the ATS and member institutions will come to St. Catharines. ATS accreditation of our institutional resources and our two degrees (M.Div. and M.T.S.) is an important part of maintaining high standards and improving our delivery of theological education.
