This past week the seminary appealed to the members of LCC to include support of the seminary in their Lenten discipline. In our regular Lenten appeal letter, seminarian Joshua Langill introduces himself and his family. Dr Harold Ristau encourages us to think about the seminary as part of our Christian family. He writes:

We have all been baptized into the family of God and all families need parents, need fathers. In God’s household, these leaders are nothing short than born from the womb of the Church. It takes a lot of time, and it costs a lot, but so do most valuable things in life—not to mention the price that our Lord Jesus paid for your and my salvation.

To that end, please consider making a financial gift to CLTS this Lenten season. Send a cheque in the envelope provided at your church, or visit Canada Helps (www.canadahelps.org) to make a one-time or recurring donation by credit card. And please keep our students and staff in your prayers at all times.

You may read the full text of the letter here.

We pray you have a blessed Holy Week and Easter celebration.
