The seminary’s annual Sacred Convocation will take place at Christ Lutheran Church, 140 Russell Ave, St. Catharines, on Saturday, 23 May 2026, 3.00pm. We invite members of LCC, and especially friends and family of the students and award recipients, to attend this festive event.
Albert Ho will receive the Master of Divinity degree, certification for ordination, and announcement of his congregational placement. Abbie Tang and Rev. Noel Richards Barre will receive the Master of Theological Studies degree.
We will also announce the placements of four vicars: Tim Bayha, Mark Du, Hyunsoo Lee, and Michael Thomas. Vicarage is a one-year internship in a congregation where the student receives mentorship from a parish pastor and gains experience in the practice of ministry. Other students will be recognised for their academic achievements at the service.
